Patrick studied electrical engineering at the University of Texas and N.C. State (summa cum laude). As a software engineer, Patrick developed software for IBM, Nortel, Duke Hospital and small companies such as Red Storm Entertainment and Alerts.com.
Patrick is a graduate of Duke Law School. During his time at a prominent patent law firm, he helped industry leaders develop their patent portfolios and attack or defend numerous patents.
Having been a part of the dot-com era of the late 90's, Patrick appreciates the elements that drive startups and reserves some of his time for providing counsel and advice to emerging companies.

Viraj studied computer science at the University of Southern California and graduated with a Master’s in Computer Science. His areas of technical expertise include computer software, Internet technologies and computer graphics. Viraj also holds a B.S. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (distinction) and a Diploma in Industrial Electronics (highest honors).
He has leveraged his technical knowledge to prosecute and secure U.S. and international patent protection for startups and the world’s leading technology corporations. Viraj also has significant experience in patentabilty, freedom to operate and invalidity searching which formed an integral part of his practice during his time at another prominent intellectual property law firm.
